Sales Representative

Region: Quebec and Ottawa

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the main responsibilities are to represent the company in the assigned territory from Quebec and Ontario. 

The job will consist of maximizing company sales, upholding existing clients loyalty and satisfaction and grow sales by ensuring a constant presence with the various building materials distributors and all retailers in the territory. 

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Increase sales in the Quebec and Ottawa areas. 
  • Present and promote new products to construction material distributors and retailers in Quebec and Ontario. 
  • Constantly stay up to date with trainings and product presentations. 
  • Develop relations with the clients and business partners. 
  • Check and analyze product placement with the retailers to ensure visibility. 
  • Stay informd of the competition in the territory and forward the information to the people concerned. 
  • Meet and exceed the territory sales objectives and profits. 
  • Enter data in relation to our clients’ files in the inside system. 
  • Represent the company during industry marketing events. 
  • Make cold calls and cold visits to potential clients. 
  • Take part in sales meetings. 
  • Write monthly sales and prospect reports. 
  • Take-part in implementing new sales strategies. 
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

  • Be available to travel: Montreal (50%), Quebec (35%) and Ontario (15%). 

  • Have knowledge of the construction industry. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another degree in Sales. 
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in sales. 
  • Knowledge of the CRM system (an asset). 
  • Competency license in the construction industry (an asset). 
  • Bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written, mandatory.
